In the heart of the Saumur vineyards, between the Loire and the hillsides, our project was born out of a genuine love for wine, local heritage and human connection. At Loire Séjours, we don’t just offer accommodation: we open the doors to a rich, vibrant and passionate region, shaped by people, viticulture and history.
A story of a deep connection to the local area
Our roots run deep in the Saumur region, amongst cave cellars, hillside vineyards and wine-growing villages. It was whilst travelling the Loire wine routes, chatting with passionate winegrowers and rediscovering the cellars of the Loire Valley that the idea for Saumur Signature became a natural choice. As heirs to a culture where hospitality comes naturally, we wanted to create a collection of unique accommodation options that reflect the character of the region: elegant, accessible and authentic.
A tribute to the winegrowers of Saumur
Through our holiday packages, we pay tribute to the wine estates, to the finesse of Saumur-Champigny, to the subtleties of Cabernet Franc, and to the sparkling wines from iconic cellars such as Ackerman, Langlois-Château and Bouvet-Ladubay. Each accommodation reflects a different aspect of Saumur’s wine-growing heritage. Here, a mural pays tribute to the grape harvests of yesteryear; there, a vaulted cellar hosts your private tastings.
The Saumur vineyards, a true mainstay of wine-growing in Anjou, are at the heart of the experience. Our guests can book tours of wine cellars or Saumur appellation estates, tastings of local grape varieties, rides along the Loire à Vélo cycle route, or even a timeless experience in a troglodyte cellar.
